The Role:In this role of Project Manager, you will manage the overall production of various projects, from contract award through to installation and operation of the project site in partnership with both internal and external stakeholders in alignment with contract terms and budget.
Your primary responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):Compile project reporting as required, highlighting milestones achieved, financial status, HSEQ considerations, and other necessary requirements as determined by the project ContractEnsuring all certifications, permits, approvals and other process documentation is completed in a timely manner to minimise delays on any relevant projectsManage the Darwin Installation crews, ensuring delivery of works in line with quality standards and project deliverablesPartner with Site Supervisors, Procurement teams, the client, Suppliers and NT Link offices/locations to ensure that all necessary plant and equipment is coordinated in a timely manner throughout various project stagesOversee the engagement of sub-contractors to ensure delivery of key activities, inclusive of adherence to HSEQ requirements and contract obligationsOngoing proactive management of risks associated with relevant projects, ensuring NT Link Executives and Directors remain aware of remedial activity and anything that may cause disruption to delivery of project contract termsThe successful candidate will be based from Darwin, however, the successful candidate will be required to travel regularly to Alice Springs and remote work sites as required.
Ideal Candidate for this role:As a suitable candidate for this role, you will be experienced in the Building industry (transportable building experience preferred, but not essential).
You will have successfully completed studies in Project Management at a Diploma or Degree level, or be in the process of completing.
You will have extensive experience in effective stakeholder management and be experienced in the interpretation requirements, and implementation of, contractual, financial, quality, health, safety and environmental factors related to remote site projects.Proficiency in a Project Management Software will be highly regarded, with a current Drivers licence, and White Card essential.
Suitable candidates must be willing to undergo Police Clearance check, and provide a minimum of two referees.
