Contract/Temp We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Director/Project Lead to spearhead a high-value, highly complex business transformation project. This pivotal role will be accountable for ensuring the successful management, oversight, and delivery of all phases of the project, including solution requirements, procurement, configuration, delivery, and implementation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to inspire cross-functional teams while keeping stakeholder needs at the forefront of every decision. Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership: Lead the project team through all stages of the business transformation, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timely delivery of outcomes. Stakeholder Coordination: Engage and collaborate closely with key stakeholders, subject matter experts, and business leaders to ensure that project objectives are met and solutions are tailored to meet diverse needs. Solution Delivery: Oversee the development, procurement, and configuration of project solutions, ensuring they align with business requirements and deliver agreed-upon outcomes. Human-Centered Approach: Prioritise human-centered principles in project design and delivery to ensure solutions are user-centric and meet the expectations of all stakeholders, both internal and external. Risk and Change Management: Proactively identify project risks and issues, developing and implementing mitigation strategies. Lead change management efforts to drive adoption and acceptance of the project's outcomes across all teams. Team Oversight: Provide leadership and direction to a multi-disciplinary project team, ensuring clear communication, efficient collaboration, and high performance across all workstreams. Strategic Thinking: Apply strategic thinking to solve complex challenges, optimize processes, and drive the project to successful completion within scope, budget, and timeline. Key Requirements: Proven experience in leading large, complex business transformation projects, ideally in (relevant industry sector). Strong understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PMBOK). Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse groups. Ability to think strategically and balance long-term vision with practical execution. Proven track record of managing multiple workstreams and ensuring successful project delivery on time and within budget. Experience with procurement, solution configuration, and implementation in a complex business environment. A human-centered mindset with a deep commitment to delivering solutions that meet the needs of all stakeholders. Desirable Skills & Qualifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification. Experience in (industry-specific tools/software or methodologies).
