Project Director with strong people management and project/program delivery experience to support a complex, large, multi-year program on a core Energy Management System replacement. This is on an initial 1-year contract with likely extension, based in Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership: Oversee all phases of the energy replacement project, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Strategic Planning: Develop, implement, and optimize project strategies, including resource allocation, risk management, and project goals alignment. Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, external stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and other partners. Team Management: Build and lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high performance, collaboration, and alignment with project objectives. Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure project deliverables align with financial goals. Risk Mitigation: Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project stability and success. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Project Management, or a related field. Must have proven experience managing large-scale Energy/Resources/Utilities/Mining IT projects; system replacement experience is an advantage. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Minimum 10 years of experience in delivering on complex, large IT projects across an Enterprise. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams to encourage collaboration to meet project deliverables.
