About the Company Our Queensland Government client is looking for an experienced Project Director to join a team that underpins the work delivered by the whole organisation by driving performance and ensuring the division's services provide value that supports the delivery of healthcare across Queensland.
About the Role The purpose of this role is to lead the Fee for Service (FFS) project, which is a critical initiative aimed at overhauling the current FFS operating model.
Responsibilities include: Development of New Business Processes: Create and implement new end-to-end FFS business support processes and templates, integrating a workflow automation tool to ensure a consistent and seamless customer experience.
Enhancement of Administrative Efficiency: Streamline FFS administration functions, including timesheet recording, costing, invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and supplier reconciliation, across all activities.
Resource Consolidation: Unify all existing FFS business support resources into a single, centralised team to provide comprehensive support across all areas involved in FFS activities.
Desired skills Project management qualifications would be well regarded.
About You Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, consultation, and communication skills are necessary for managing a large, diverse, and invested stakeholder group.
Vendor Management: Expertise in guiding and facilitating vendor activities to ensure alignment with project goals and optimal outcomes.
Advanced Project Management: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to sustain project progress under challenging conditions.
Governance and Reporting: Proficiency in monitoring and reporting on all aspects of project performance to a broad range of stakeholders.
Leadership: Proven experience in leading and inspiring teams within dynamic and fast-paced project environments.
Adaptability: Familiarity with Public Health ICT project methodologies, coupled with the ability to adapt to specific in-house processes.
