About the role This is an Expression of Interest for a Project Director.
The Project Director will manage and control all project management baselines as applicable to assigned project(s), through all phases of the project lifecycle.
Detailed review of the project scope, budget, schedule, and quality requirements as defined in the project and cultivate and manage this relationship in a manner congruent with UGL Principles. Participate in the bid and tender efforts as requested, to ensure that the capabilities and requirements of the respective operation and line of business applicable to the work being tendered are communicated and represented within the tender in such a way as to minimise risks during execution of the work. Monitor and control the project financial baselines, investigating any variations to plan, and forecasting project revenue, costs and cash flows. Continually monitor and review key performance indicators (KPIs), implementing changes and adjustments as required, addressing variations to planned performance. Prepare project reporting documentation on a weekly, monthly and adhoc basis, and present project performance metrics and outcomes as required. Involvement and support of all UGL HSSE requirements including participation in proactive safety measures and HSSE improvement plan initiatives. Provide leadership, direction, supervision and inspirational management to all team members (direct & indirect). About You Tertiary qualification in engineering and/or Project Management qualification preferably AIPM Diploma level or above. Experience in MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent scheduling software. A minimum of 10 years' demonstrable experience in, and sound understanding of, project management in a multi-disciplined production, manufacturing, maintenance or engineering environment. Excellent leadership skills including project management skills, communication skills at all levels, horizontal and vertical negotiating skills and networking skills. Experience managing modular building construction and utilities/services requirements preferable.
