Projects range from greenfield developments to major fit-outs and refurbishments, from single one-off projects to state, national multi-site, and regional roll-out projects requiring consistent nationwide delivery.As one of the largest project management firms in Australia with a team of over 320 professional staff, we operate in sectors including commercial, industrial, education, data centres, hotels, retail, and defence.About the role:We are looking for a Project Director with a proven track record in managing clients and projects in the Education sector to lead the NSW Education Project Team and support the growth strategy in this sector for 2025 and onward.
You will accept total responsibility for the effective management of all phases of a project (or projects) from initial establishment to handover and project closure.About you:You can confidently manage project delivery from inception to closure, assist in the commercial assessment of new projects, prepare project proposals, and deliver presentations.
You will have proven negotiation skills with both internal and external groups, including contractors, suppliers, consultants, and authorities, and have the emotional maturity to effectively manage diverse personalities.An understanding of the legal environment for each project regarding planning, commercial aspects, and delivery constraints is essential, as well as our obligations for complying with AS 4801, AS 14001, and Environmental Health and Safety legislation generally.What to expect from us:JLL is committed to equal opportunity and building an inclusive workplace.
