RoleSummary: The ProjectDeveloper – DER is an exciting opportunity in our DistributedEnergy Resources (DER) and Engineering team in our Future Energybusiness unit based at our Perth CBD office.
As part ofour DER team under the strategic leadership of our DER PortfolioCoordination Manager, we are seeking skilled and motivatedindividuals to contribute to the prioritisation, identification,and development of DER projects that align with our strategicobjectives and vision for the future of energy.
Keyresponsibilities of the role include :
ProjectIdentification and Prioritization: Work closely withthe DER Portfolio Coordination Manager to lead theidentification, prioritization, and framing of DER-relatedprojects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with the overallstrategy and objectives. DER InitiativePipeline: Identify and develop a pipeline of DERinitiatives that contribute to meeting Synergy'sstrategic objectives, DER roadmap, and anticipated energypolicy changes, market reforms, and customerdemand. StakeholderCoordination: Collaborate with key stakeholders todevelop business cases for projects/initiatives, ensuringcohesion of Business Units and accountabilities, andfacilitating seamless project delivery. CapabilityAdvocacy: Advocate on behalf of the DER teams tosecure access to necessary capabilities for the execution ofDER initiatives in alignment with Synergy's strategicobjectives. ExternalEngagement: Support the coordination ofSynergy's external engagements with key stakeholders,ensuring consistency in messaging and objectives. Whatyou'll bring: Tertiaryqualifications in Engineering or relevant industry experiencewith demonstrated experience in the Energy sector deliveringcomplex solutions. Strongcommercial background with an understanding of how to evaluateinitiatives. Experience withcoordinating complex innovative initiatives that relate to theenergy industry. Demonstrated projectdevelopment, project management and/or stakeholder managementexperience developing and delivering multidisciplinary projectsin the energy and/or resources sector.
