Reporting to the Portfolio Delivery Manager, this role supports the Portfolio Team of Program and Project Managers by ensuring the team's adherence to all applicable methodologies and ways of working.
The role will also support the team with a variety of tasks, such as project coordination, project administration, and support with financial processes.
They may also take on small works for delivery under the guidance of a Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Project and Program Managers in the delivery of their projects and programs. Coordinate project and program delivery activities and report back on progress to project and program managers. Manage the 'small works' project deliverables under the guidance of a project or program manager. Develop and maintain work breakdown structures for the smaller, repeatable project tasks. Assist project managers with production and maintenance of documentation such as schedules and plans. Execute project administration such as managing purchase orders and managing invoices. Schedule stakeholder meetings, preparation of agendas, documenting actions, and managing those actions. Create and maintain program and project dashboards. Support the administration and acceptance of project and program change requests and ensure that documentation and plans are updated accordingly. Maintain RAID logs and follow-up on actions for projects. Key requirements:
Hands-on experience in project coordination and support. Experience working with stakeholders and managing priorities. Minimum of 2 years relevant experience. Experience implementing and embedding governance and new processes in complex environments. Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite. Experience working within complex teams and across business units. Understanding of technology project lifecycles (e.g., Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative). Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related discipline. Overall, you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively across organisational levels.
You will be highly motivated with a willingness to manage a large variety of tasks and have a customer centric focus.
