Project Coordinator – Restoration About the Company Linx Contents & Restoration Services is a market leader when it comes to insurance restoration services in Australia. Operating nationally for 35+ years, we have specialized in building and contents restoration to domestic and commercial properties damaged through insurable events such as fire, storm, flood, and malicious damage.
For further information please go to: www.linxrestoration.com.au About the Role We are looking for a highly motivated person to join our dynamic team to take on new daily challenges. The office-based Project Coordinator is responsible for engaging internal technicians & external contractors, scheduling, managing restoration projects and budgets to ensure the timely delivery of projects to our clients. The role works closely with estimator/supervisors, technicians, suppliers, sub-contractors, and finance team and reports to a Team Leader and restoration manager.
Key activities include but are not limited to: Consistent and accurate administration and project coordination of small-medium restoration projectsOrganisation and scheduling of appropriate trades/technicians/estimatorsCost management through claim life, handling of trade invoicesStrong focus on KPIsCollating photos and other documents for submitting reports and quotationsLiaising with stakeholders to ensure efficient communication and regular updates Desired skills: Experience in contents & restoration works and/or insurance building repair coordinationThorough understanding of the restoration and/or building repair process, critical inspection points, and WHS requirementsTrack record of establishing and maintaining long-term relationships/accountsExceptional organisational and time management skillsProactive and outcome-focusedAbility to act independently and multi-taskHigh attention to detail with excellent communication Due to our business being mostly weather-related and linked to major insurable events, overtime is occasionally required during these event times to assist in the increased workloads.
