ABOUT THE ROLE
We are now seeking a Project Coordinator to join the team, reporting to the Project Manager working alongside a close-knit team. You will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of critical specialist services for the Narrabri Underground Coal mine in NSW.
Experienced Underground Supervisors and Entry-Level Project Coordinators are encouraged to apply. Candidates with a background in chemical consolidation and injection shall be shortlisted. To be successful in this role you will need to be experienced in the following:
Leadership: Working closely with small teams to deliver excellent results.
Hands on: Ready to get underground, mentor and lead crews when required.
Project manage: Coordinate projects, manage workforce, provide budget estimates, report to internal and external stakeholders.
Business development: Managing and maintaining relationships with clients to understand and deliver their needs.
Technical nous: Understand injection plans, deliver training, creating work instructions; SOPs, SWIs, JSAs.
Safety Leadership: Comfortable in addressing, investigating and implementing effective controls. Facilitation of Risk Assessments.
Procurement: Maintaining, ordering and auditing product and stock.
Good Communicator: Strike up conversation with operators, Managers, clients, corporate teams.
APPLICANTS WILL REQUIRE:
Demonstrated relevant experience in Underground Coal Industry
Proven experience in Longwall Process works
Experience in Ventilation works
Experience in Polymeric Chemical Application
Training transcripts and/or qualifications & tickets
Valid & current drivers licence
Right to work in Australia (Birth Certificate, Passport, Citizenship Certificate)
