In the role of Project Coordinator, you will assist in managing the deployment of resources across multiple projects to ensure efficient performance across the works programs, assist with the coordination of the human and plant resource pools, and assist with staff recruitment, allocation, development (including Civil Tradesperson Development Program (CTDP)), and performance appraisal to match the needs of the civil works program. You will be required to assist with monitoring project management systems to ensure compliance with the Workplace Health and Safety legislation, Environmental legislation and Quality Assurance System.RoadTek is a commercial business within the Department of Transport and Main Roads. This means we value respect, safety, diversity, and inclusion.Some of your accountabilities will include:Assist with management of resources for projects to ensure operational efficiency.Assist with programming and managing the short-term Works Program.Continually monitor and review operations throughout the life of the project in conjunction with Project Managers and Supervisors.Assist the Resource Manager to identify and source suitable project resources.Support and assist with building cohesive, effective teams with assistance from project Supervisors.Assist in identifying training activities for field staff. Coordinate and/or participate in performance review process for project staff.Mandatory qualifications and conditions:Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.Applicants must possess a current, valid Queensland "C" class driver's licence or equivalent.A reasonable amount of travel consistent with industry standards will be required throughout the operational unit and/or the State.
