What we are looking for: Do you have an eye for detail and the ability to multitask with a high level of accuracy in a Civil Construction and Infrastructure environment?
We have a challenging role for a Project Coordinator to support the delivery of Capital Works within the Fraser Coast.
What your day will look like: Preparation of tender and contract documentation for allocated projects in the Capital Works Program.Contribute to the development of contract management practices and procedures for service delivery.Assist in the development of long and short-term plans, policies and procedures.Provide feedback and project data on completed works, ensuring "as constructed" data is provided to the project owner.Identify and resolve implementation problems with designs prior to contracting of works.Develop 5 year sealed road resurfacing programs based on asset management data and operational requirements.Provide information on project performance in a suitable format for distribution to staff, Councillors and external customers.Preparation of reports and presentations to Council.What you'll need for success: Ability to effectively work in a team environment for the delivery of contract managed capital works projects.Experience in design, construction and asset management.Demonstrated high level of experience in preparing tender documentation, including technical specifications, general conditions of contract and drawings.Demonstrated high level of interpersonal and oral communication skills with the ability to relate at the appropriate level to staff, contractors and community representatives.Experience and a high level understanding of project management (from a legal, civil, probity and operational perspective).High level of experience in managing contracts using relevant Australian Standards General Conditions of Contract.Licences: Relevant Driver's LicenceWhite CardBenefits of Working with Council: Committed to providing quality services to our community, we strongly support an inclusive and values driven culture, recognising your individual skills, knowledge and talent.
