Australia.It is a condition upon your application that candidates are Australian or US citizens to obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role.THE ROLEPURPOSE AND SCOPEThe Project Coordinator works as part of the larger Amentum Projects and Construction team in achieving Project and Program success through coordinated delivery of a program of works.The Project Coordinator provides support maintaining work scheduling data, work status-to-date, process controls and forecasts completions.The Project Coordinator provides support to Project Managers, sub-contractors, and varied stakeholders.Responsibilities/DutiesProvide support to the Project Manager, ensuring department and project objectives regarding budget, schedule and quality targets are achievedCompile material inventory records and prepares requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies.Provide high level coordination support, liaison, and communication with internal and external stakeholders to enable project and portfolio works to occur.Provides support to the proposals team prior to, during and following tenders, including organising project documentation, providing vendor feedback and supporting contract negotiations.Support the Project Manager with the implementation the Project Management Plan for all phases of the project (Project Initiation, Project Execution, Construction, etc.)Provide support to manage the project scope, ensuring adherence to the contractual baseline defined in the approved statement of work and contract.Notify the Project Manager of any observed variations.Monitor and report status against key performance indicators or contractual metrics on a routine basis, ensuring the Project Manager is always updatedUnderstand site requirements, specifically the implementation of US versus Australian design standards and CONUS versus OCONUS procurement.Ensure compliance with all site environmental health and safety requirementsAny other reasonable duties as requestedQUALIFICATIONSUndergraduate Degree or,Equivalent demonstrated experienceField: Engineering, Construction or Project Management or other relevant disciplineDrivers LicenceEXPERIENCE – Minimum Essential Demonstrated 2+ year's relative experience applicable in field of operations, maintenance, and construction or engineering.Demonstrated ability to manage both subcontractors and consultants.Demonstrated knowledge, experience and understanding of schedule, scope, and budget management.WORK ENVIRONMENT, PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND MENTAL DEMANDSThe position is desk based and sedentary in nature, the ability to lift items up to 5kgs may be required occasionally.STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIREMENTSAt least 18 years of age.Able to fluently read, write and speak EnglishAustralian or US citizenEHS REQUIREMENTAll Amentum personnel are responsible for understanding and complying with all site environmental, health and safety requirements.While Amentum is responsible for providing a safe workplace and is responsible for ensuring compliance with requirements of the Handbook, each person is responsible for:Completing work tasks in a safe mannerReporting any unsafe acts or conditions to their supervisor and/or PMO/EHS ManagerContinuous adherence to the environmental, health and safety procedures outlined in the Handbook during the performance of their workRed-Carding a Job -
