Project Coordinator

Our industry-leading client is looking for a Project Coordintor, this is an excellent opportunity to further your career as a building industry professional.
Duties The position requires a majority of office work, combined with regular site visits and frequent communication with our factory production team. The successful applicant will be assisting the Partitions Manager with the following duties with a view to them eventually being able to carry out all tasks unsupervised:
• Handling customer queries, liaising with builders, suppliers and our tradespeople
• Quoting projects: Market tenders and regular customer requests for quotes, then following up on those quotes
• Project administration and project management
• Site measuring of projects before production and transferring the information to the factory for production
• Coordination of site installation with builders and tradespeople
• Ordering and receiving materials from suppliers
Requirements The successful applicant will be a highly motivated person with excellent written and verbal communication skills, a sound mathematical and practical aptitude with strong attention to detail. Prior building industry experience is preferable. Desirable personal attributes would be:
• People skills. An outgoing communicative personality with good personal presentation
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel
• Some CAD training or building industry vocational training would be advantageous
• Good ability to multi-task
• Willingness to work constructively as part of a team
