About the Opportunity New opportunities available based in Osborne SA for experienced Project Controls Analysts.
Reporting to the PMO Delivery Manager you will be a contributing member of the Program Management Team in the challenging environment of building a cohesive PMO and Program Integration approach including the Project Controls processes for the program in close cooperation with all relevant stakeholders.
This will involve achieving a sound understanding of related business systems and the data flows between ASC's ERP system, Contract Management, Procurement, Estimating, Scheduling and Project Accounting & Finance.
Responsibilities Conduct cost and schedule performance analysis and reporting using a variety of techniques Including Earned Value Management (EVM)..
Coordinate regular updates to project forecasts to provide accurate projections of remaining scope, schedule and budget.
Engage with key stakeholders within the Program, as well as functions such as Finance, regularly to facilitate compliance with Project Controls processes and best practices.
Facilitate effective Baseline Change Management, monitoring progress and performance to identify any variances.
Facilitate processes in accordance with ASC's Project Management Framework.
About you Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Commerce/Economics, Engineering or equivalent experience Familiarity and understanding of PMBOK concepts; AIPM, PMI, Prince2 certification or equivalent desirable Experience in the discipline of Project Controls team or project management experience; Familiarity and understanding of AS4817:2006/2019 desirable Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Open Plan Professional, and/or Cobra) Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Prior experience and proficiency in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, identifying trends, and translating complex data into clear actionable insights for senior management including use of Business Intelligence tools (e.g.
Power BI or equivalent) Experience working in an international context and/or in operating in dislocated teams desirable Highly effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team Ability to learn quickly and apply principles learnt to problem solving High attention to detail Eligibility This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
