The purpose of this job is to support the Governance and Reporting Team with project controls administration and resourcing activities. Acting as a central point of contact for the Governance and Reporting Team for administration, showcasing a proactive nature and demonstrating flexibility in responding to the needs of the team. The role will focus strongly on system, resource and governance administration and will be required to liaise with Capital Development & Delivery teams to ensure that appropriate and accurate information is submitted to support broader reporting activities.
As a member of the Project Services team, the job holder shares collective responsibility for maintaining and enhancing the performance of SSEN Transmission's business through the effective management of administration across Capital Development and Delivery.
The key duties & responsibilities will be: - Provide support across Capital Development and Delivery in relation to capturing and maintaining resource controls.
- Managing appropriate systems to support the execution of delivery across project services.
- Supporting the team across the gated lifecycle in relation to progression through appropriate governance frameworks across LCP.
- General support for Project Services including training / learning needs, ad-hoc support across meetings over the lifecycle of project / programme delivery.
- System Administrator for Integrated Project Management (IPM).
What do I need? To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Strong administration experience, ideally on complex large infrastructure programmes in a regulatory environment.
- Strong organisation skills and proven experience of prioritising own workload and attention to detail.
- Knowledge and experience of working with commercial and project control tools and systems including office software.
- Highly motivated and proactive with a positive attribute towards change. High level of flexibility and adaptability.
- Ability to communicate clearly in an engaging manner with colleagues of various levels of experience and management.
