The Role
Reporting to the Manager Capital Program, your responsibilities will be to manage and build processes and controls to enable the delivery of the Council's Capital Program and Project Portfolio. You will oversee financial and performance tracking, enhance processes, systems, and conduct detailed analysis, collaborate with stakeholders as well as manage risks, trends, and budget forecasting.
Provide project controls leadership for all Capital projects, overseeing financial and performance trackingDevelop and enhance processes and systems to ensure portfolio and program managementConduct analysis and status updates ensuring alignment with internal planning and financial goalsCollaborate with stakeholders to assess and manage project risksReview contractor documentation including schedules, cash flow, forecasts, and milestone payments to ensure alignment with Council frameworksWork closely with stakeholders to develop yearly budget forecastsAbout You: Bachelor degree in Business, Construction Management (or related discipline) desirableDemonstrated experience in project controls, portfolio, or project management positionsProven experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining strategiesHigh level negotiation and communication skills as well as stakeholder engagementAdvanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Office suiteBenefits: Offering a range of employment benefits including health insurance discounts, fitness memberships9 day fortnight with flexible working arrangements (hybrid work, flexible start and finish times)Relocation assistanceOpportunities for career growth
