About the job As a Project and Program Scheduler with SA Water's Sustainable Infrastructure group, you will be an integral part of a large scheduling team, ensuring projects within the capital portfolio are delivered on time and within scope.
This role will involve applying SA Water's scheduling standards, using Primavera P6, to support project managers across all stages of project delivery, from creating schedules, and establishing and maintaining baselines to providing ongoing updates and managing approved changes.
Additionally, you'll produce timely, detailed reports on project, program, and portfolio performance, identify schedule risks, and work to resolve any roadblocks with project managers and contractors.
In addition, your responsibilities will include: Implement and maintain scheduling standards across all project, program, and portfolio schedules, ensuring data consistency and alignment with cost information.Provide technical guidance to project managers and train Project Delivery Analysts on scheduling tools, ensuring a high level of competency across the team.Develop and distribute accurate performance reports, identify critical paths, highlight schedule risks, and facilitate issue resolution with relevant stakeholders.Contribute to a healthy work culture and engage openly with team members and stakeholders, continuously seeking opportunities to simplify workflows and improve efficiencies.Your success in this role will come from: Tertiary qualifications in engineering, project management, or relevant experience.Demonstrated experience in project and program scheduling.Advanced proficiency in scheduling software (MS Project Server and Oracle Primavera P6).Ability to communicate effectively, build rapport, and convey complex ideas, particularly with regard to new or evolving processes.Experience in managing portfolio schedules is desirable.Membership or qualifications with recognised Professional Organisations is desirable.To apply, click 'Apply'.
