About the Role:
WorkPac on behalf of our leading construction client are seeking an experienced Project Administrator based in our Melbourne office responsible for supporting project delivery. Due to the level of compliance and control of work requirements the role requires a high level of attention to detail and communication skill to successfully perform the role. The role will require a person to be able to work with several project managers, working for a diverse group of clients concurrently.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Control of Work Manager and Project Manager to assist with the development of Project Management Plans (PMP), incorporating input from the Site Manager and client representatives.
Collate and chase up stakeholders to provide HSSEQ documentation for inclusion in the project safety plan and conduct initial reviews of contractor documentation for completeness.
Ensure effective communication and understanding of project requirements during the contractor engagement process.
Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors to access online portals and facilitate the online safety induction process.
Set project closeout and deliverables expectations for staff and contractors and ensure compliance with contractual KPIs and reporting requirements.
Review and assess returned E-forms for works verification and quality assurance, escalating any gaps or nonconformance issues to the Project Manager for resolution.
Collate and provide all project closeout document submittals, registers, and contract requirements to the client, tailored to meet contractual obligations.
Collaborate with the Project Manager to review contractor and supplier claims, confirming delivery and progress with appropriate documentation and evidence.
Establish and maintain project set and cost code structures, advising the Project Manager on budget overspend prior to issuing purchase orders and subcontract agreements.
Administer ongoing budget management, including variations and budget transfers, on behalf of the Project Manager.
Prepare variation and performance-based reports, such as cost-saving registers, during the invoicing or progress claims process each month.
Key Requirements:
2 years experience in a similar role
Experience working in the construction industry
