Project Administrator - Fitout/Joinery

The Company

This contractor provides commercial joinery & furniture across high end commercial & corporate fitout. With withstanding relationships with Fitout contractors & Architects they are well placed in the industry for the long term. With a well-structured, progressive, and innovative team across design, estimating, manufacturing and delivery you will be joining a high performing and supportive team delivering commercial projects up to $2M.

Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the project management team for all commercial joinery projects & products. Coordinate and manage project documentation, including contracts, specifications, and drawings. Maintain project schedules, track key milestones, and monitor progress against deadlines. Communicate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Prepare and distribute project reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence. Manage project-related queries, ensuring prompt responses and issue resolution. Support the accounts department with project-related invoicing and payment tracking. Key Requirements: Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within construction, joinery, or a related industry. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of project management tools and software (advantageous but not essential). High attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Familiarity with joinery processes, materials, and industry terminology (preferred but not mandatory).
