Job Description
The key responsibilities of this role are:
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
Coordinate with various departments to align project timelines with operational needs.
Oversee the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
Ensure that all resources are used efficiently and effectively to meet project goals.
Act as the primary point of contact between the project team and stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal departments.
Facilitate regular meetings and updates to keep all parties informed of project progress.
Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting minutes.
Track project performance and provide regular reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
Identify potential risks and issues that could impact project success.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with the project team.
Monitor project activities to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulations.
Address any quality issues promptly and work towards continuous improvement.
Coordinate logistical aspects of the project, including transportation, inventory management, and crew management.
Ensure that all logistical elements are aligned with project requirements and timelines.
Assist in the coordination of operations, mechanical support, and other specialist services as required.
Ensure smooth integration of project activities with ongoing operations.
Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
Ensure that stakeholder requirements are incorporated into project plans and execution.
Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project life cycle.
Occasional site travel across Darwin, Dampier, Melbourne, and Bell Bay.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
3-5 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating a solid track record of success.
A background in mining and/or site administration is advantageous.
Proven ability to thrive in high-pressure and fast-paced environments.
Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities on a daily basis.
Resilience and a strong capacity to handle challenges effectively.
A strong work ethic with a commitment to excellence.
Drive and ambition for professional growth and development.
Willingness to travel quarterly as required.
Proactive approach with a sense of responsibility and ownership over tasks.
