About the Team: AEMO's Onboarding and Connections (O&C) division manages the entire connection process for the National Electricity Market (NEM) and oversees the Market Registration (onboarding) processes across Australia's energy wholesale and retail markets.
Within O&C, the Market Registrations team delivers an efficient onboarding experience, building collaborative and impartial relationships with all stakeholders to ensure seamless integration into the market.
About the Role: As a Project Coordinator, you'll support the Market Registrations team in streamlining onboarding processes.
This includes managing document workflows, triaging applications, coordinating audits, and assisting with the team's administrative needs to ensure smooth market integration.
This is a fixed term contract role from February to October 2025.
This role will ideally be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.
What you will be doing Assist in executing Market Registration objectives by consulting on, implementing, and embedding new onboarding processes.
Coordinate and track market audit activities, providing regular follow-ups.
Manage executive committee coordination and record decisions.
Oversee the AEMO onboarding mailbox, ensuring correspondence is directed to the correct officers.
Offer comprehensive administrative support to the Registration team.
Build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain and update the AEMO website's Market Registrations section, revising content and uploading critical documents.
Develop and manage team documents, including procedure templates, application forms, market guides, agendas, presentation templates, and minutes.
What you will bring to the role: Tertiary or postgraduate qualification in business, or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 3 years in a coordination or administrative role, with developed communication skills in a corporate setting.
Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to team deliverables.
Strong ability to multitask and prioritize in fast-paced environments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
