Job DescriptionOur client is an innovative business who is a market leader in their respective sector. They have a significant number of ICT projects underway and plenty in the pipeline commencing in the next 12 months.
Reporting to the PMO Manager and working closely with the Commercial Finance Manager, you will be involved with:
Leading, developing, and maintaining a detailed process to support all aspects of financial management, reporting, and forecasting across the program. Educating all vendors and workstream leads in the process.Supporting continual improvement of financial and resource management processes, templates, workflows, tools, design, and implementation.Tracking and reporting monthly financial performance against baseline.Compiling and capturing program budget and forecast estimates to completion.Reviewing vendor costs against milestones, linking the project scope and schedule to the underlying financial performance.Maintaining an audit trail of changes to budget and approved use of contingency.Reviewing risks and issues with the Program Director and Program Delivery Director and including items that may have an impact on the financial performance of the program, including any scope changes, vendor variations, or internal resource changes.
You will have a strong background in project accounting, a high level of commercial acumen, and confidence partnering with non-finance leaders. A strong track record supporting a PMO is essential.
ICT Project Accounting experience will be an advantage.
Daily rate is negotiable depending on experience and this is for an immediate start for a minimum of 6 months.
