Your new opportunity: We have an opportunity a Financial Business Analyst to join our passionate team in our Chipping Norton office. We are looking for an energetic team player with a positive attitude to be a part of our Finance professionals, where you will be responsible for providing support and analysis to the operations of the business.
You will manage financial activities to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and be a be a business partner to several key stakeholders where you will provide support to optimise operational decision-making and performance by providing reliable and relevant business insights & reporting.
In this role you will:
Partner with key business stakeholders to manage & coordinate the annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans. Provide financial advice and analysis on the operations of Penske Australia including review of revenue, gross profit, and expenses. Report on variances and provide insights and feedback to management that will provide opportunities to meet financial and operational targets. Analyse & reconcile current inventory position and provide useful insights to the business to support calculations for inventory obsolescence and any other inventory related initiatives. Review business processes and identify continuous improvement opportunities that will deliver operational efficiencies from an internal and external perspective. Work closely with Management in developing and implementing new business initiatives and strategies as well as support Operations management teams on all financial analysis and performance matters including tender submissions, proposals, and contract renewals as they arise. About you: You will possess Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or a business discipline. Be Certified Practicing Accountant or Chartered Accountant. Have 8 years minimum experience post degree. Strong commercial acumen, highly financially numerate and literate. Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills with a customer service ethos. Self-starter with demonstrated success in influencing outcomes and strategic initiatives to drive the business forward. Strong problem solving and solution skills with a keen eye for detail. Advanced skills in MS Suite of products. Accurate and timely delivery of management reports and other financial information. Dedication to meeting deadlines.
