Monadelphous are seeking experienced Project Accountants to join us in our Perth office, Working on major O&G, Lithium & Iron Ore construction projects here in Australia. As the Project Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of the project including cost control metrics, forecasting, variance analysis, as well as managing all aspects of project accounting. Key responsibilities of this role will include:Develop control budgets and estimates in line with project scope and work breakdown structure across the full project life cycle.Undertake Project Forecasting and Estimate to Complete.Earned Value Analysis, Cost Reporting and Cost Performance evaluation.Variance analysis – trend, risk and opportunity identification.Provide data on project cost performance and participate in the review of overall project status and forecasts with the Commercial Manager and Project Manager.Assess variation and claims and provide cost change management.Manage project accounting activities, including cost control, responsible for leading the compilation of the monthly progress claim.Be the link between the Project team and the Commercial team in PerthProcess month end accounting activities, including relevant accruals, provisions, allocations, and cost transfers.Prepare monthly management reports and present to senior management.What you'll bringBachelor's degree in accounting, commerce, or related fieldAbility to adapt to different situations and organise priorities autonomously to meet deadlines.5+ years of experience in project accounting or related fieldPreferable on-site experience in in the resources sector.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team.Our CommitmentThere's lots to get involved in, celebratory or cultural events and so much more.
