Project Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Project Accountant for a 6-12 month contract with a leading mining organisation.
You will play a key role in project costing, financial reporting, and budget tracking, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities: Manage project budgets, forecasts, and reporting Analyse financial performance and provide insights Assist with month/quarter-end tasks Assist with project WBS creation in SAP Assist with project reporting in SAP and BPC Assist with SOX documentation for month/quarter-end Balance sheet preparation Ad-hoc tasks What We're Looking For: 2+ years of experience as a project accountant Experience in mining industry is highly desirable Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Degree in Accounting/ Finance
