At the State Sports Centres' flagship venue, MSAC, we're searching for a dedicated Programs Officer to join our Children's Programs team.
This role is integral to our team, ensuring every child, regardless of ability, enjoys a memorable, safe, experience.Ideal for aspiring teachers, childcare professionals, coaches, or anyone with a sports-driven mindset, this position offers the opportunity to coach, guide, and inspire children in Melbourne's premier sports venue.
If you're enthusiastic about teaching kids and having fun while doing so, we'd love to hear from you!Key Duties and Responsibilities will include:Engage positively with children, parents, guardians, and teachersDeliver high-quality programs with a focus on safety and inclusivityAdhere to equipment management standards and report discrepanciesActively participate in all team meetings, shifts, and training sessionsMaintain up-to-date qualifications and attend mandatory trainingsCollaborate with the team to ensure consistent program excellenceRespond promptly to any incidents and maintain safety standardsEnforce rules in line with the Children's Programs proceduresChampion full participation for all childrenPromote health and safety through structured activitiesRequired Qualifications:Pool Lifeguard CertificateCPR certificateCurrent First Aid certificateValid Working with Children's CheckWhy is this a great place to work?You will love working at Melbourne Sports Centres.
