Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Member Engagement and Events Manager and Strategy & Projects Manager, this position is a part time role at 0.6 FTE and requires a proactive and energetic professional who is highly skilled at event coordination and delivery, communications and business support.
This is the ideal role for someone who can work autonomously and as part of a high-performing team and can confidently take on a broad range of tasks to support the day-to-day operation and strategic outcomes of the Committee.
Key responsibilities include: Supporting the delivery of Committee for Adelaide events and programs including SA Zero, Adelaide Connected, Insights Series and Emerging Leaders Series.
Assisting with the coordination and ongoing management of event sponsorship.
Assisting with the collation of expense records for various events.
Assisting with the coordination of events from invitations, managing RSVPs, preparation of nametags, theming, speaker coordination, event location, menu planning.
Assisting in the preparation of sponsorship proposal documents for members and stakeholders.
Assisting with the drafting of speeches and presentation slides as required.
Supporting the team to plan and deliver Adelaide Connected Podcast series including scheduling recordings, communicating with talent and coordinating podcast promotion campaigns and associated materials.
Working closely with CEO and team to coordinate client meetings, briefings and roundtables as required including confirming venue, facilitating invitations / RSVPS, arranging catering and other materials (if required) and taking minutes.
Ensuring client, sponsorship and membership data is kept up to date and relevant.
Assisting with the preparation and dissemination of regular communications.
Maintaining various CRM systems and data in relation to members and stakeholders.
Providing the CEO and wider team with support as required.
Other administrative duties as required.
Ideal person for the position: It is essential that you will be able to demonstrate experience working in an Executive Assistant or Business Support role that has incorporated aspects of business and client relationship management and event management including a degree of support that resulted in the growth of an organisation.
This person will have superior time management, diary and administration management experience with advanced computer literacy skills including Word, Excel and CRMs.

Exceptional diary management skills including organisation of various meetings.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability.
Ability to work outside of normal business hours.
