Program Support Officer - Investment PlanningTalent Street is looking for a Program Support Officer (A04) - Investment Planning for one of our clients based on the Sunshine Coast.
In the role of Project Support Officer, you will maintain and support existing and future infrastructure (road infrastructure) by providing project support to the Investment Planning team. This position has the responsibility for updating various systems, including the preparation of reports, supporting documentation, briefs, and submissions to meet the needs of the business.
This position is an initial 19 months contract + 1x12 months extension option.
Accountabilities include: Administer, maintain, and ensure the delivery of effective support activities and systems in relation to planning projectsEnsure all departmental records and information is managed according to Department standards and guidelinesResearch and prepare a range of high level and often complex project documentation, reports, briefing notes, and submissionsSupport the Investment Planning team with procurement, resourcing, correspondence, and project deliveryIdentify and recommend changes to existing practices and procedures to further develop project support processesUndertake high level data analysis and project performance reporting to provide the project team with relevant and accurate informationMonitor and report on the project budget, schedule, and resource usage against the key performance measuresManage project activities to support the project managers, including supplier briefings, risk workshops and training activitiesReview and analyse incoming and outgoing project correspondence and documentation to identify issues and risks for inclusion in the appropriate registersEnsure that all project support activities including establishment, maintenance, review and close out are undertaken in line with relevant guidelines, policies, and protocols.Create meeting agendas, set meetings, take minutes, record actions and follow up.Monitor client's emails, set reminders and prioritise important emails for action.Undertake any other adhoc duties relevant to the level of the position as required.Requirement to travel to construction site offices will be discussed and agreed in detail upon contract appointment.
