Program Support Officer, Clerk Grade 3/4, Wollongong An exciting opportunity to join a high performing team responsible for the design, procure and delivery of next generation capable and fit-for-purpose new fleet vehicles, vessels and trailers for NSW State Emergency Service (SES).
Program Support Officer role within Fleet Replacement team 2 day (14 hrs) per week temporary role until 30 June 2026 Wollongong location (some flexibility can be considered) Work in volunteer-based agency supporting communities of NSW About the opportunity The NSW SES Fleet Replacement team coordinates all activities related to the initiation and design of next-generation fleet assets, manages acquisition and procurement processes, and facilitates effective handover and delivery of new assets into service. As part of the Fleet Replacement team, the Program Support Officer works with internal and external stakeholders contributing to the design, acquisition and delivery of new fleet assets in line with the agency fleet replacement schedule.
Key responsibilities for a Program Support Officer include:
Coordination of working groups, capturing and formalising papers and minutes to support decisions relating to fleet replacement, development of capability requirements, approved equipment lists, and/or functional specifications. Communicating with fleet builders and suppliers to support the ordering and tracking of equipment to be stowed on fleet assets. Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the movement and delivery of fleet assets across NSW. Assisting with asset creation, record and data management adhering to NSW SES asset management processes and procedures. Annual stocktake processes relating to Fleet assets. Ordering processes including purchase orders, stock order transfers and goods receipting. About the NSW SES Our Mission: NSW SES saving lives and creating safer communities.
