The opportunity
The Program Support Administration Officer plays a vital role in providing comprehensive administrative support to the Program Support Team at Workskills.
This position involves managing general enquiries, maintaining accurate records in the CRM database, assisting with referral processes and management of opportunities for activities across all programs.
The role demands a high level of attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to multitask in a busy, compliance-driven environment.
The administration officer also supports the employment, training and education team, contributes to quality assurance, and ensures exceptional customer service.
Reporting to the Program Support Manager, the successful person in this role is expected to uphold Workskills' values, adhere to all policies, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Prime functions of the role
Organisation and direction of general enquiries to Program Support team Provide a broad range of administrative support for activities pertaining to the Program Support Team Computer based role requires an attention to detail and ability to multi task in a busy environment undertaking a variety of compliance-based tasks in a timely manner Provide accurate data entry and maintenance of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database and other spreadsheets as required Assist the Program Support Team with the referral process and vacancy management for jobs and activities The Program Support Administration Officer is directed by and responsible to the Program Support Manager.
The incumbent is expected to act in all duties with a high-level of confidentiality and maturity, and demonstrate a high level of commitment to the company and management Duties are to be conducted in accordance with Workskills quality assurance system and all Program Deed guidelines.
About you
Minimum Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience.
Self-motivated, organised and disciplined including sound organisational and time management skills in the context of the role Sound computer skills in Microsoft Windows and Office environment including: Experience in e-mail procedures Experience in using computer database for client records or the ability to learn Demonstrable competency in keyboard skills Possess sound interpersonal and written communication skills Ability and commitment to work as a team member in a small team environment Commitment to ensuring confidentiality in all areas of the business Demonstrate competency with administration skills including experience in:the use of current office technology and equipment creating and maintaining filing systems Provision of a satisfactory current National Police Check and a current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration.
Desired but not essential:
Previous experience in an administrative role in Employment Services or recruitment Demonstrated ability in meeting KPIs and supporting the team to meet their targets This role represents a great opportunity to join a dynamic business as it continues to grow.
