Program Manager, Australia Cross-Border TeamAmazon Australia is looking for a highly skilled and analytical Program Manager, with a passion for making an impact through innovation and delivering solutions at scale. This role is a unique opportunity to join the Amazon Australia Cross-Border (XB) team. Our team develops data-based and scalable solutions to identify and then offer international selection to our Australian customers.
As a Program Manager in this team you will play a crucial role in discovering untapped selection opportunities to increase our product offerings and grow the business. You will lead the creation and optimization of processes that enable selection growth.
You will work closely with Category leadership and international partner teams to develop mechanisms to source additional selection in Australia. You will own selection growth by driving improvements in inventory availability, increasing inventory efficiency, and purchasing processes.
Key job responsibilities Selection discovery: Perform complex data analysis to identify opportunities to increase selection, reduce costs and improve customer experience.Product management: Use large datasets to design and lead product initiatives related to inventory growth/management, ensuring successful execution from initiation to completion. Define scope, goals, and deliverables, establish timelines, allocate resources, and track progress.Stakeholder management: Build and maintain a strong relationship network with key stakeholders, including Category heads, and cross-functional teams. Communicate effectively to ensure alignment to deliver on the team goals.Forecasting: Partner with Finance teams on demand forecasting, capacity planning, inventory placement and budgeting.Supply chain: Collaborate closely with multiple supply chain partner teams to ensure that inventory transfers happen on time and at cost.Performance metrics: Establish KPIs to monitor, analyze and provide strategic insights to drive growth as well as measuring business performance in order to make data-driven decisions.Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree3+ years of proven experience as a product manager or in a similar role, preferably in managing business operations and working cross-functionally with tech & non-tech teams.Demonstrated experience with using data to define product requirements and the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver these requirements.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for identifying process inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.Advanced knowledge of Excel is required.Familiarity with Forecasting & Supply Chain Management concepts (e.g forecasting, planning, optimization, …)Excellent written and verbal communication skills complemented with the ability to problem solve independently.Experience with analytical tools and ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting.Intermediate knowledge of SQL or willingness to learn.High attention to details including proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.Ability to develop strategies using large datasets and to execute methodically once the strategy is in place.Ability to clearly communicate data insights and business cases to stakeholders of various seniority.Willingness to roll up your sleeves to identify and solve emerging opportunities.
