About the role As we continue to navigate the evolving landscape of critical infrastructure, we are seeking a skilled Program Manager to lead our response to the Security of Critical Infrastructure (SoCI).
As the Program Manager, SoCI, you will be instrumental in overseeing the development and execution of our Critical Infrastructure Risk Management Program (CIRMP).
You will lead a multidisciplinary team focused on ensuring compliance with SoCI regulations while promoting a culture of safety and collaboration throughout the organisation.
This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
About Business Insights and Excellence The Business Insights and Excellence group drives operational excellence by enabling best business practices, economic pricing, supply chain management, and performance optimisation to support the broader business and partners in delivering reliable, cost-effective, sustainable, and future-focused outcomes.
In addition, your responsibilities will include: Leading the organisation-wide implementation of SoCI compliance requirements, integrating them into business planning and operational processes. Maintaining the SoCI compliance gap analysis and action plan, ensuring all compliance obligations are met effectively. Overseeing risk assessments relevant to SoCI and supporting the development of business continuity plans. Building awareness and understanding of SoCI compliance across SA Water through training and communication initiatives. Preparing and delivering relevant reports to the Executive Leadership Team, the Protective Security Steering Committee, and the Board, ensuring transparency in SoCI-related risk management. Coaching and mentoring key stakeholders to enhance risk acumen and drive desired performance outcomes. Your success in this role will come from: Tertiary qualifications in risk management, law, public administration, or a related field (essential). Extensive experience in risk, governance, compliance, and critical infrastructure management (essential). Proven ability to build and maintain constructive relationships across all levels of the organisation (essential). Strong influencing, negotiation, and interpersonal skills (essential). Excellent written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information clearly (essential). Familiarity with the water industry or similar utilities (essential). Knowledge of governance practices in large organizations (desirable). Ability to hold an Australian National Security Clearance (essential).
