This new role has been created from a recent review of how we manage our data, and the program will implement a number of key recommendations from the review.
Our role Managing the end-to-end delivery of the new RAC Guardian Program while ensuring all assigned projects and initiatives are successfully monitored, documented, tracked, reported, integrated, and implemented. This opportunity is available on a 12 month maximum term contract basis.
What will you be doing? Leading the new Guardian Program, which will involve several workstreams that revolve around the management of our data including - data retention and deletion, data risk management, consent and preference management, 3rd Party data and privacy reform.Developing high level plans and budgets to inform required business cases; designing, scheduling and resourcing plans to deliver programs of work considering business and technical changes and impacts.Managing the overall program and any individual projects that may result, contributing to the execution of work.Designing and developing strategies and processes, in consultation with team members/stakeholders/business consultants, which will support the implementation of the program.Leading, guiding and mentoring a small team of Stream Leads and ensuring continued alignment and commitment.Identifying and working with key stakeholders including GMs, Senior Management and working pro-actively to influence business behaviours concerning delivery approach and or methodology, via conducting presentations/workshops and attending stakeholder meetings.Identifying program dependencies and working with relevant departments to ensure plans can be carried out effectively and dependencies are resolved.Managing and escalating risks and issues as per required internal processes.Planning and executing communication strategies in consultation with Change Manager for relevant programs and projects occasionally to ensure alignment of several stakeholders, including Board, Executive Management and external parties (where relevant).Providing reports and information to Sponsors, Steering Committees and a variety of internal teams.Ensuring the consistent application and adherence of the Project Management Framework and compliance processes.Undertaking lessons learned with a view to continuous improvement and program 'health checks' to ensure programs and projects are delivered in alignment with business strategy and project management methodology.Performing post-implementation program and project reviews where applicable to determine benefits realisation and achievement.About you Proven extensive Program Delivery experience and ideally with a Data Governance and Risk Background.Proven extensive experience in the planning and management of large and complex projects or programs.Extensive demonstrated experience in successful delivery of complete / large projects.Data Governance and content and preference management experience highly desirable.Prior experience with Data and Information Technology Programs.Exceptional program / project management skills.Exceptional stakeholder management skills with strong facilitation, influencing, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.Strong business acumen, strategic thinking skills and ability to simplify and bring clarity to project deliverables.Highly developed leadership skills and excellent communicator.Superior understanding and consistent application of project management competencies including scope, time, cost, quality, HR, change, communications, cost, risk, procurement and integration.Proven track record of understanding business requirements and producing relevant conceptual solutions.Extensive experience of Project governance / management frameworks.Ability to work autonomously; prioritise, use initiative and work to deadlines and manage competing demands.Highly organised with accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to operate effectively in a Values/Behaviour based organisation and role model Behaviours.What can we offer you?
