The Program Manager is responsible for the leadership of staff within the Early Childhood & Education Support team, and for driving continuous improvements to ensure training is of the highest quality and student attendance, retention and achievement are maximised. Reporting to the Head of Department, the Program Manager is responsible for the design, delivery and evaluation of current course offerings and for the implementation and growth of new course opportunities.The Program Manager Early Childhood and Education Support is responsible for current course offerings, including but not limited to: Certificate III & Diploma in Early Childhood Education, and Certificate III and Certificate IV in School Based Education Support. The Program Manager supports the implementation and growth of courses including meeting the training needs of industry within Gippsland.Whilst a background knowledge in the program area of Early Childhood and Education Support would be an advantage, it is not a mandatory requirement, so if you are a highly driven and enthusiastic individual with exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, you are strongly encouraged to apply.As a Vocational Educational Leader, a Program Manager introduces contemporary and innovative approaches to teaching and assessment, including blended learning choices, the introduction of digital technologies and the use of collaborative approaches to improve learning outcomes. The Program Manager quickly grasps concepts and ways of working to empower educators to create collaborative, inclusive learning environments. Some travel across Campuses will be required. A six-month probation period applies to this position.Your Experience and QualificationsYou have a Certificate IV TAE40116 (or equivalent). A minimum AQF5 level teaching qualification is desirable, along with substantial teaching experience. You can advise, interpret and translate relevant framework and regulation requirements. You have specialist knowledge and skills in the development and coordination of training programs, resources and curriculum.
