Program Innovation & Compliance Coordinator – Out of Home Care Uniting Victoria and Tasmania – Horsham VIC
The Program Innovation & Compliance Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Out of Home Care Leadership team in the continuous evaluation of services, ensuring the highest standards of program delivery, compliance, and risk management. This position will work to improve operational efficiencies, ensure adherence to all legislative and organizational guidelines, and maintain systems that meet compliance and accreditation requirements.
Key responsibilities: Support the Leadership team in maintaining clear, accurate, and up-to-date program/service documentation, and lead program development, planning, and evaluation. Ensure compliance with funding and service agreements, and establish routine processes for service reviews, performance evaluation, and client feedback integration. Uphold Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards and ensure child safety by adhering to organizational policies and procedures. Report and address concerns related to child safety and wellbeing, taking appropriate actions to mitigate risks. Ensure compliance with all legal, funding, and statutory requirements, promote risk management culture, and work with leadership to address and mitigate serious risks. About you: You will have a qualification in business and/or systems development. A tertiary qualification in social work, psychology or a related discipline/experience would be advantageous. Strong knowledge of industry practices and professional standards. Excellent communication, teamwork, and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence for quality outcomes. Experience in systems and program process review and development, with a keen attention to detail. High level of integrity, professional ethics, and computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite).
