An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic leader who will be responsible for leading Queensland's National Fire Ant Eradication Program within Biosecurity Queensland.
Fire Ants have the potential to substantially affect the economic, social, and environmental wellbeing of the state, and successful eradication will lead to significant public benefit.
You will be a strategic thinker and an effective influencer with a holistic understanding of the factors influencing the success of the eradication program. You will provide strong, collaborative leadership and direction with a focus on driving a positive and achievement-focused culture.
You will be a great communicator who is confident and comfortable engaging with stakeholders across a range of peak agricultural bodies, State and local governments, and broader community groups.
