About the job SA Water is seeking an experienced Program Director to lead and manage the planning and delivery of our Core Systems Capability Transformation Program.
This program is a highly complex technology transformation initiative, consisting of high-profile, multi-year projects that are critical to our business success.
This is an opportunity to be involved in a 'once in a generation' transformation of key SA Water capabilities.
As the Program Director, you will be accountable and responsible for overseeing a number of large-scale, complex projects that will have a significant impact on our organizational culture and drive enterprise-wide change.
Your role will involve working collaboratively with senior leaders to achieve the outcomes of our Corporate Strategy and Technology Strategy.
This is a 3-year maximum term opportunity.
About the Person This is a high demanding role that requires exceptional leadership, strategic vision, and the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity.
As a key executive, you will lead the transformation of SA Water's technology landscape, influencing the entire organisation's future direction.
You will need to be resilient, adaptable, and ready to thrive under pressure while delivering excellence in a fast-paced environment.
In addition, your responsibilities will include: Fostering trust with our people, customers and community by providing expert advice and service that ensure we effectively communicate and engage audiences with our business strategy and its delivery across South Australia, every day. Deliver the Core Systems Capability Transformation Program by managing a high-profile, highly complex technology transformation program on time and within budget. Develop an agile and realistic program plan and ensure effective program management, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management. Utilise strategic sourcing and commercial development knowledge to ensure optimal outcomes and value for money arrangements. Build and lead a high-performing and cohesive team, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement. Engage and influence stakeholders, including Board, Executive, and Senior Managers, to ensure commitment and support for the program. Your success in this role will come from: Relevant qualifications in IT, Computer Science, Business Management, Governance, or related discipline. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills. Experience in program management, financial management, project management and risk management. Extensive experience in delivering highly complex technology and business transformation programs. Background in Utilities or asset-intensive industries is desirable. To apply, click 'Apply'.
