Division: Independent Public School - Pilbara Education RegionSalary: Level 3, $125,850 - $137,715 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2021)This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025Newman Senior High School (SHS) is the Iron Heart of Education in the mining town of Newman in the Pilbara. We acknowledge and respect the Nyiyaparli traditional owners of the land on which we learn, and the Martu custodians.As a Program Coordinator, you will work collaboratively with the Principal and members of the administrative team to provide educational leadership within the school and the community. You will develop and promote the school's vision for academic success and encourage school staff, volunteers, and community members to share ownership of the school's vision and goals.Using your effective change strategies, you will lead the school community to accept and develop opportunities for improved service in the Student Services Team. You will facilitate workforce effectiveness and provide a role model for self-development to improve professional performance. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of the school plan through participative decision-making, including developing policy and establishing and maintaining systems.As the Program Coordinator, you will manage programs, specific curriculum areas, and general school administration, including the management of school timetable processes. Your innovative leadership will support access to a range of educational pathways designed to best meet the diverse needs of our student. Relevant training and mentoring for areas of responsibility will be considered and provided where appropriate.
