The Team
You will join a team of a highly motivated and collaborative professionals that work in the Enterprise Transformation Group. The Enterprise Transformation Group is made up of two Divisions, the Chief Information Officer Division and the Enterprise Strategy and Transformation Division, that have been established to drive the AEC's transformation agenda, and to deliver the Election Systems Modernisation Program (Indigo Program) on behalf of the agency.
The Indigo Delivery Branch is part of the Chief Information Officer Division and is responsible for:

Agile Delivery Teams (ADTs) – multidisciplinary teams building, refining and deploying solutions to re-engineer business processes and replace aging electoral systems with modern, secure and agile technologies.
Systems Team – multidisciplinary teams building the Agile development environment for the Indigo Program and enabling the ADTs, including developing and maintaining the continuous delivery pipeline, and facilitating deployment and releases.

The Indigo Delivery Branch is committed to establishing and maintaining a high performing and positive workplace culture. You will operate in a fast paced, dynamic environment, working closely with Directors, Assistant Commissioners, First Assistant Commissioners and all areas across the Enterprise Transformation Group.
The Opportunity
As a Program Coordinator, you will work with limited direction to support Program and Delivery Directors and Managers to deliver the Indigo Program, ensuring work packages are delivered effectively against scope, budget, time and to a high quality. This will include providing administrative support, collaborating and communicating effectively with stakeholders and, and ensuring rigorous program reporting and record keeping.
This recruitment process will be used to fill future Ongoing and Non-ongoing opportunities at the AEC.
To excel you'll have:

Demonstrated experience in a project management or business administration role.
Experience in managing high volumes of work with competing priorities and demonstrated ability to deliver work high-quality work to agreed standards and timeframes.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and levels of seniority.
Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships, with well-developed stakeholder engagement skills, while using professional judgement to communicate decisions and manage stakeholder expectations.
Proven analytical abilities, while using high integrity and discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive matters.
Confidence and proven ability to work autonomously, with strong commitment to working harmoniously within a team to achieve positive results and support the AEC's strategic direction.
Proficiency in using IT tools to maintain project and program records and information (e.g. MS Suite, electronic record management system, Azure DevOps, etc.).

Desirable

Tertiary qualifications and/or an industry recognised certification in Management, Business Administration, Project Management or a similar field.
Demonstrated experience in providing administrative support for a program or project in the Federal government context.
Demonstrated experience in providing administrative support to an Information Communication Technology program or project.
Experience in Agile ways of working, such as SCRUM or the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
