Role Overview:
As a Program Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our Project in Bourke. Your responsibilities will include networking and collaborating with local Elders and organisations, as well as driving and facilitating the registration and completion process for project participants. This role requires a deep understanding of the community's needs and the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with local Elders and organisations.
Coordinate outreach efforts to promote program participation within the community.
Empower the team to facilitate registration and enrolment processes for program participants.
Provide ongoing support and assistance to participants throughout their journey.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project goals are met and regular detailed project reporting is completed on time.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to program activities.
Requirements:
First Nations Identified position.
Ability to work collaboratively with local organisations.
Possess a valid Working with Children Check.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Prior experience in community engagement or related fields is preferred.
Driver's license and access to a vehicle is essential for travel within the local area.
