We are seeking a new Program Coordinator to support our Cyber Security and Information Technology engineering programs.About the Position:As the Program Coordinator, you will oversee the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of innovative vocational education and training programs. You will manage staff resources and oversee student administration.To be successful in this position, you'll have:Capacity to coordinate the work of staff in the development and implementation of VE programs.Educational leadership skills that promote teaching and learning, including effective interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to contribute effectively as a constructive and proactive team member.Teaching experience in the relevant area, including evidence of effective innovative and flexible teaching methods.Skills and experience in competency-based assessment.Experience in relevant industry and substantial current discipline knowledge.A sound knowledge of the vocational education, higher education, and training sector.Ability to ensure current vocational competence that meets or exceeds the education level being delivered and assessed.Skills in the use of information and communication technologies.An understanding of resource management issues including finance, facilities, OH&S, Equal Opportunity, and Industrial Relations.Qualifications:Certificate IV in TAE as a minimumDiploma VET (Desirable)Information Technology specific qualification/sPlease Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.About the College of Vocational Education:The purpose of RMIT's College of Vocational Education is to empower learners and our industry, community, and government partners.
