Vocational Education Training (VET) at Notre Dame is dedicated to providing exceptional outcomes to students and industry partners. We aim to be the conduit to Higher Education by providing the platform to help all students succeed in education and work, to make a career change or as a pathway into higher education through the UNDA registered Training Organisation (RTO).Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and be responsible for coordinating and providing support and advice on the development, implementation delivery and evaluation of School Based Education Support - Vocational Education Training (VET) programs.Coach and mentor a team and undertake the performance and development reviews to promote a highly engaged, positive and effective workplace culture.Work closely and communicate with university leadership and colleagues within the VET space and build effective relationships with various university business areas.Manage administrative matters relating to operational and strategic planning, governance, budgeting, reporting, resource management and workforce planning.Deliver teaching and conduct tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, student field excursions and clinical sessions, including associated marking and assessments.ABOUT YOURelevant degree or vocational qualification in School Based Education Support and/or Education/Teaching (primary or secondary) (Category A – D).A TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or be willing to complete as part of their employment.Experience working within the current standards of registered training organisations (RTO's).Demonstrated ability to conduct training needs analysis, design capability frameworks and develop training programs within a university or tertiary environment would be highly desirable.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver papers, reports, presentations, and proposals for all levels of an organisation.Experience managing and leading teams.
