Program Assurance OfficerFull-time PermanentDetails: An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen in the Private Buildings Cladding Scheme in Major Projects Canberra. The Private Buildings Cladding Scheme provides financial support to owners of eligible apartment buildings to identify and remediate combustible cladding.The role of the Program Assurance Officer is an integral part of the program, and their primary duty is to provide assurance to Government that building works are being completed in accordance with Cladding Scheme requirements. This includes:Conducting site inspections to provide active assurance that work health and safety, recycling, and site safety requirements are being met.Reviewing building and loan documentation to assess whether funding only covers eligible works under the Scheme.Reviewing invoices.The successful applicant will be a highly motivated leader within the team, promoting risk management and providing high-level guidance and advice to staff.
