The role We currently have an opportunity for enthusiastic and hard-working Production Workers to join our team based in Townsville, Queensland.
If you are process-oriented and have experience in manufacturing, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
We will provide the successful candidate with specific and thorough masonry product training to link your existing skills and knowledge to our industry.
We will also invest in your development, providing the opportunity to expand your experience if you demonstrate the desire and aspiration to grow with us.
This role is available on a full-time permanent basis, working on our day shift Monday to Friday, with the possibility of weekend work as and when required.
Responsibilities Ensure safety, health, and environment standards are maintained.Operate production line machinery and learn to oversee all areas of production on the site, incorporating desired levels of quality, quality output, efficiencies, production techniques, and costs.Contribute to improved production techniques and system efficiencies.Communicate a clear handover between shifts to other operators and the maintenance team.Have a high understanding of quality assurance/control, conducting routine quality inspections.Perform manual physical work including product handling and pallet repairs.Housekeeping and cleaning as required.Forklift operations.What you will need to succeed Exhibit a strong commitment to environment, quality, health, and wellbeing.Experience in a masonry manufacturing environment will be beneficial.Possess a proactive and positive attitude.Strong mechanical aptitude and be process-oriented.Able to be multiskilled and perform various production role tasks.Able to work as part of a small team and lead others.Forklift High Risk Licence.Our business Adbri Masonry is Australia's leading concrete products manufacturer, supplying quality concrete bricks, blocks, pavers, retaining walls, erosion control products, and architectural masonry solutions.
