About the Opportunity
The Production Support Analyst (Mainframe) is responsible for:
Provision of migration services of application components from development to production within agreed service levels for JIS Agencies, and for the deployment of new technology projects as required.Provision of support for agency applications in the production environment.Contributes to the Production Support Help and Service desk and contributes to the updating of the maintenance records for Production changes and Incidents.Providing backup support to the IT Support Officer when required. Technical Expertise
(Desirable) An understanding of ICT Service Desk roles and responsibilities.Experience in SA government second level help desk.Experience in the use and administration of ServiceNow Service DeskKnowledge of Cobol, JCL, TSO and SDSF Tertiary Degree in Information Technology or similar Special Conditions for Employment
