There's no better time to join our team!Job SummaryAs a Production Supervisor, you will provide leadership to production teams, monitor performance, lead site priorities and continuous improvement, investigate cost improvements, and maintain effective communication across the factory.Role Responsibilities:Safety Health & Environment (SHE) and QualityLead activities to maintain and improve safety, quality, environmental, and hygiene standards.Conduct investigations and take necessary actions promptly.Address issues in these areas in a timely manner.Adhere to all safety instructions, policies and procedures to ensure the health and safety of yourself and others.Production Performance:Regularly monitor production performance during shifts to meet or exceed safety, quality, and efficiency targets.Effective problem solving including implementing appropriate actions and preventive solutions.Develop continuous improvement plans for production performance and processes.Report on performance and required actions.Provide support to the wider team as required to meet organizational goals and objectives.Unilever Manufacturing System (UMS)Lead teams focusing on agreed site priorities.Develop, implement and monitor action plans to meet these priorities.Training and People Management:Create training and development plans for Team Leaders to meet production requirements.Identify recruitment needs and facilitate recruitment and onboarding activities.Monitor the Kronos Time and Attendance system.Roster staff in consultation with Team Leaders.Monitor training for new operators and maintain timely records.Provide feedback and direction to Team Leaders to foster development.Assist in development and delivery of training documentation including work instructions, and toolbox talks.Manage performance issues in consultation with Human Resources.Foster a culture that promotes respect and dignity, encourages continuous improvement and drives employee and process development.Communication:Ensure clear communication with Team Leaders regarding priorities to ensure that priorities are carried out.Collaborate with other functions (maintenance, quality, planning, warehouse) for effective operation.Communicate with the Plant Manager about shift performance, site priorities, and people-related matters.Does this sound like You?Mandatory:Previous experience leading successful teams in a manufacturing environment.Strong data entry, problem solving skills, analytical/critical thinking with strong attention to detail.Proven ability to build positive relationships to achieve win-win outcomes with teams and the wider organization.What awaits you at Unilever?The core of Unilever's culture is captured as Human, Purposeful, Accountable.
