Producing some of Australia's favourite beverages, Tooheys is a New South Wales institution!
We are looking for a Production Supervisor (Internal job title is Brewing Team Leader) to join our brewing team in Lidcombe.
This is a full-time, permanent role involving shift work.
The shift patterns are based on weekly rotations between mornings (6am-2pm), afternoons (2pm-10pm) and nights (10pm-6am).
Reporting to our Head Brewer, you will lead a team of 10 Brewing team members.
Your key responsibility will be to oversee the production process and lead your team in delivering high-quality beers while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
This dynamic, fast-paced role requires someone with a passion for developing people and fostering a culture of teamwork and innovation.
What You'll Do:Lead, mentor, and develop a talented team of Brewing Technicians to ensure the highest production and performance standards.Collaborate with the wider operations team and key stakeholders to achieve outstanding business results.Drive a continuous improvement mindset within the team, ensuring a culture of efficiency and quality.Oversee brewing processes and ensure the production of world-class beers.Maintain and enhance operational safety and quality standards across the brewing process.What You Bring to the Role:Previous experience in a team leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.A proven ability to coach, mentor, and build capability within your team.Strong understanding of continuous improvement processes and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.Familiarity with SAP and lean methodologies (e.g., TPM) is advantageous.Analytical and systematic problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement solutions.What you can expect in return:Full training in the role and career development opportunities.Experience and exposure to all departments on-site from one role.Learn how to run the day-to-day business.Empowerment and ownership of your role end-to-end.Here at Tooheys and Lion, we choose to be a leader in driving inclusion, diversity, and gender parity.
