Production Supervisor Full time Permanent position Mon- Fri 6.30am- 2.30pm Salary- $100k + Super Must be Citizen or PR The role As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our reputation as a world-class further processing site, supplying our valued customers, including large multinational clients, with the highest standards of product excellence .You will drive best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize efficiencies and improve operational performance.You will be responsible for supervising production operations, managing employees, and ensuring we uphold our focus on safety, compliance, and our passion for quality.Responsibilities Manage the team using coaching, developing, delegation and recognition to ensure they have the capability to meet performance goals.Manage and monitor operational areas' performance levels, ensuring they meet safety, quality, health and environmental standards and initiating corrective actions in a timely manner.Implement and monitor strategies to reduce staff turnover and ensure labour cost base is productive, efficient and cost competitive.Identify and resolve any OHS issues that may arise, Food Safety and Quality issues, hazards and risks.Driving continuous improvement initiatives and communicating clearly across all levels of the business Experience Experience with leading and engaging a team, with the capabilities to create a collaborative and positive working environment.Ability to coach and develop others, monitor and measure performance and provide direct feedback.Passionate about driving continuous improvement initiatives through implementing strategies.Ability to analyse data, understanding production and team performance to improve efficiencies.Excellent communication with the ability to communicate cross functionally to build strong and effective relationships and influence key stakeholders.Strong analytical capability with the ability to solve problems.Adaptable to change and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.Experience in managing a food manufacturing facility with a proven track record of achieving positive operational outcomes.Implemented and promoted continuous improvement initiatives, familiar with a culture of 5S, TPM, LEAN/Six Sigma Degree qualified in relevant discipline (desirable but not essential) If you have the experience outlined above and are interested in this role or similar, please APPLY NOW or contact Aisling Kidney directly on 0468875322
