Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for leading and directing activities within the production facility ensuring that our products are made within specification in a safe, efficient manner utilising optimal levels of human resource and materials, and minimising waste.
Purpose of the Role Manage clear expectations for the team, provide appropriate resources and tools to get the job done, along with high support and high challengeConsistently provide open and honest, candid feedback 'in the moment', recognising people for doing great work, and addressing performance issues earlyIdentify and actively promote continuous improvement to product, processes and systems within any facet of the work environmentCollaborate with the supply, maintenance, and planning teams to improve productivity and make necessary amendments to the production planMaintain a safe and healthy working environment that does not tolerate unsafe behaviour or actsEnsure food safety, legality and quality requirements are adhered toSupport change and foster an environment where change is embracedAbout You The ideal candidate will have:
